1、 Research objectives
(1) Develop new and efficient coagulants suitable for water treatment processes in Africa;
(2) Develop efficient coagulation technology and promote its use in water plants in Africa.
2、 Research content
The research and application of high-efficiency coagulants in African water plants, with better coagulation effects than the coagulants currently used in water plants, and a cost not higher than existing coagulants;
Develop efficient coagulation technology and equipment, collaborate with Tongji University to select water plants in Africa, promote efficient coagulation and sedimentation technology, and establish demonstration projects.
3、 Research plan
Tongji University collaborated with Jiangsu Yijing Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. to carry out work on the preparation process, equipment, and application effects of efficient flocculation. In the early stage, Jiangsu Yijing Environmental Protection Co., Ltd.'s own application market products in China were used for performance evaluation. Then, based on the actual water quality, high-efficiency coagulants were prepared to meet the standards in terms of effectiveness and cost-effectiveness. Finally, an economically applicable high-efficiency coagulant was prepared. In the drug dosing plan, combined with efficient mixing equipment, adjust and optimize the dosing plan, and provide a series of coagulant and flocculant dosing plans for different water qualities.

5、 Expected results
1. A new type of high-efficiency coagulant has been developed by applying high-efficiency coagulants in water plants in Africa, combined with the actual water quality in Africa, and exported to the African market.
2. Develop efficient coagulation and sedimentation technology, collaborate with Tongji University to select water plants in Africa, promote efficient coagulation and sedimentation technology, and establish demonstration projects.
3. Collaborate with Tongji University to apply for and publish one patent.
